![]() ![]() Onto ending the robots again near the labyrinth of ice. I don't know if it can reach Romancing Saga Minstrel Song but it's really up there! It's probably my favorite or top3 remake SquareEnix ever did. The cave levels are all distincts and each got a very distinctive feel.Ī bit disappointed in the volcano cave that isn't a true endless maze like the original but then again now I don't have to spend an hour or more there. Legend of Mana is 'only' a port with upscaled graphics (or redrawn, either way higher definition) that plays pretty much. ![]() This game is a faithful remake of the original, and an excellent one I think. They even made each places its own identity! Both are great games, and my choice would clearly be Trials of Mana if I only could get one or the other, but here you have a little bit more info. I absolutely love how they did the remake, basically the maps are close to identical but one area is one huge map with no loadings so the place look very cohesive instead of a series of rando rooms. Outside of a few textures that are really REALLY bad and some popins, there's some inconsistent framerate/framepacing but otherwise it's perfectly fine (not even a slowdown during THAT wallboss mayhem). They nerfed Duran's healing compared to the original, it's absolutely not a reliable way to heal anymore. Trials of Mana est le remake en 3D du RPG japonais culte sorti en 1995 sous le titre de Seiken Densetsu 3. Its story is a bit weak, Charlottes English voice acting might make you retch, and theres some notable repetition in the games environments, but fighting through enemy hordes feels great. Otherwise playing on hard was the correct decision, I can use cup of wishes in this mode, I'm never short of any healing item though. Trials of Mana is a strong remake of the classic 2D Super Famciom RPG that Western fans pined after for so very, very long. It's like that one spot where the hard mode can be felt I think. It felt like a raid boss in Wow where no one knows what they're doing and getting smacked around. ![]() In Trials of Mana, there are six possible protagonists in their respective quests, which lead them to obtain the Mana Sword and fight a world-ending threat. The spike against the wall boss was insane. The all-new 3D remake of 1995’s Trials of Mana has been redeveloped from scratch with modern 3D graphics. I got a class change with the wind mana stone (I've never got a class change before Ice/Fire before). So the game is definitely easier and more generous. ![]()
